We were there during the annual Halloween celebration, but during the week it was very quiet. We got in good walks, saw quite a few tows & barges, visited with some interesting campers, and had no unpleasant encounters with loose dogs

Easy to find. Quiet, clean campground. Flat and level concrete site. Giant shepherd hook to tie out the dogs, hang some lights, etc. Huge site, excellent view on the river. Everyone is happy and pleasant as they pass by. Wish it was available year round - the price was very cheap and worth more.
