If the lake hadnt flooded because of heavy rain it would have been perfect. Camp hosts very helpful and nice. Good place to launch boat.

Beautiful campground! Some sites are a little difficult to back into, other than that, no complaints!

The first visit it was active lots of things going on and it became very quiet about 10:30 11:00. Enjoyed talking to hosts and people in the park. Showers were clean and park were mowed and it was enjoyable.
The second visit was nice. No people in park to speak of, think 4 trailers total but park was well kept and was a nice place to spend three days before they closed for the year.

Campground and host were great. Rangers need to do a better job of enforcing quite hours after 10, not just drive through at 9:30 and call it good.

Great! A lot of the sites aren’t ideal for tenting, but it was still great

Baxter is our favorite campground. The grounds and restrooms are clean. The people working are always friendly and helpful. The only con is you have to plan 6 months ahead, especially for weekends, to get a spot.

If you bring a dog ,have a 6 foot leash. Its the rule. If your dog/dogs bark please try to keep them at home or kennel them. Nothing spoils A camping experience quicker than barking dogs. Inconsiderate pet owners who leave their dogs poop should be banned from Corp. Campgrounds. We watched A dog owner let his dog run loose and poop at the swim area. He left it. If enforcement continues to be lax ,this behavior will only get worse. I have watched the Park Ranger drive right on by barking dogs, dogs with very long leashes and excessive loud music. They seem to shy away from confrontation.if these problems were adressed in A timely manner it would make for A much more enjoyable camping experience. I have watched campers have harsh words with their neighbors and nearly come to blows over unruly pets.

Wonderful campground. Shower houses were very well kept and thoroughly cleaned each day. Campsites were cleaned after campers left in preparation for incoming campers. Check in and out was smooth and staff was friendly and helpful. The dump station was level with good access. We hope to come back.
