This campground is clean and the swimming area is quite nice. It's probably a better choice for RVs than tents. We were in a tent and all the RV noise was palpable. The people who run the place are very helpful and friendly.

Baxter is a well cared for hidden gem on Table Rock Lake. With a marina, 2 restaurants, a general store and a Dollar General right up the road you have everything you need while camping right on the lake!

I love Baxter and I love site #38. It was perfect for our pop-up camper. Easy walk to the restroom/shower. Plus, it's only an hour drive from my house. Thank you for keeping it clean. It is a beautiful place to camp.
The beach area is perfect for day users. I love everything about Baxter.

Good campground. Very friendly and informative campground host. Clean restrooms. Things to watch out for, tight spaces and shorter sites. We were there on holiday weekend and would have been nice to see the place mowed between sites, grass was very tall. Marina is nice and close and has friendly folks. Overall a good stay and recommend the campground.

Although the water was high, and some sites closed, (sometimes happens after a lot of rain), we had a great time at a very well managed and clean campground. Staff was friendly and helpful. Take a moment and enjoy what TRL has to offer and stay at Baxter Campground.

Bugs are completely out of control! Even with bug lamps and other methods the kids and I were eaten alive. Never have we set up only to turn around and take down it was so miserable. Showers were gross and HOT. So muggy you were sweating while showering. Never again and do NOT recommend!
