About North Dickey Lake

North Dickey Lake Campground is a beautiful campground next to scenic Dickey Lake and several hiking and mountain biking trails. It's conveniently located off the main highway and provides a secluded location for outdoor enjoyment. A day use area is located at South Dickey Day use area, on the opposite side of the lake.

Rained all afternoon, night, and next morning - not the optimum time for a visit. Swapped out for site further up the hill because site 15 turned out to be the collection point for water runoff. On the plus side, campground was quiet and the vault toilets were clean.

Had an excellent time at Dickey. Campground was clean and quiet, with excellent camp hosts. Only thing the sites could use a little gravel as they were muddy on the rainy days.

The good: Camp is peaceful and quiet. Numerous toilet vaults. Vaults are clean. Paved access road. Limited, but available WiFi through camp host. Beautiful lake with nice boat dock.
The bad: Campsite access road is too narrow. Parking blocks in individual campsites are laid out poorly. Boat ramp is too narrow. Too many reserved spots that are not occupied.

Very clean campground and most campsites are close to the lake! There was an issue with people not putting their foods away, but FWP was quick to talk to those that had food laying around all day/night.

This is a favorite get-away with easy access to the lake and a reasonably quiet campground. We missed having a more attentive campground host but appreciated the newly painted, cleaner outhouses.

If your extra vehicle is at the site longer than 30 minutes, you will need to pay the $5 extra vehicle fee or move the vehicle to the Overflow Parking Area.
Non-reservable sites area first come-first serve. Saving site is prohibited.
Please cancel your reservation if you do not plan to use the campsite. Reservations may be forfeited, without refund, for failure to occupy campsite on first night and for absences exceeding 24 hours thereafter. Campsite will be made available to other campers at the following day for the remainder of the reservation.
