This was one of the most, if not THE MOST, relaxing and serene campgrounds of our camping trips throughout Montana, thus far. The campground environment was beautiful, clean, sites were well spaced, and the host was very congenial and friendly. We will go back again in the future. Such a peaceful time, when we needed it in our lives!

We arrived to find that someone was occupying our reserved site, but the host was quick to get that straightened out. We had a large spacious site with a view of the lake, which is truly beautiful. But we were parked right next to the road and didn’t have room for awning. I was disappointed that there were not hiking trails. Just a short walk next to the highway to a nice overlook. The lake is good for swimming. Clear and blue like the Caribbean. Very popular with boaters and jet skiers so noisy on the weekend.

I was sad to see so many reserved sites go unused, this system needs to be reviewed. It needs to go back to first come first serve.

Nice campground. Lake was gorgeous and the bugs weren’t bad.

Stunning moon rising over the lake. Had to figure out exactly how to find the campsite via an atlas but once there, the site was nice for a tent and lake stroll. Campsites aren't very private but the host was welcoming and local, so knowledgeable about the area.

This has to be one of the most if not the most beautiful experiences I’ve had. This campground is well maintained, beautiful, and everything is close to the lake. The perfect place to unplug, unwind, and enjoy.

We feel that we should not have to make reservations for 21 sites and have only 4 open for first come first serve. Too many sites were empty so people without reservations were unable to camp and had to move to another camp ground. We prefer only a few sites for reservations and the majority first come first serve. Thanks, we had a wonderful time!

The host was very accommodating and the campground was very clean. Some of the camp sites were a bit tight compared to the ratings.
