What Guests Are Saying
The Ford Cabin is a charming and well-equipped retreat, ideally situated near scenic river views and perfect for activities like cross-country skiing. Guests appreciate its cleanliness, basic amenities, and the overall positive experience, despite some noise from packrats at night. While some challenges exist, such as the difficulty in making reservations and managing the heater, many would happily return for another stay.

We love the Ford cabin. The pilot lights on the stove do not work, For Sure! But everything else was as we have found every time we have stayed there. Well done. Thanks.

The cabin was great. The river was beautiful and we had good fishing. The local packrat was not the most welcome visitor and after multiple attempts of capture he lives to enjoy another day.

Loved the cabin, the traffic was a bit much during the day but at night I got the peace and quiet that I was after. I will definitely stay there again.

Besides the critters in the walls, was a very rustic, unique experience. We enjoyed it very much. There are off the grid type camping down by the river on same road. Campers can use the water at the cabin. Ford area is very remote and secluded.

Loved staying there, water was wonderful, cooking inside was great and just a reminder about needing to plan for bears hanging out between the front door and the outhouse at night. :-)
