What Guests Are Saying
Emery Bay Campground offers stunning access to Hungry Horse Reservoir and is a serene alternative to the crowded campgrounds in Glacier National Park, just 20 minutes away. The campground is well-maintained with spacious, beautiful sites and friendly hosts who provide excellent service. While the access road is rough and some sites experience day-use traffic, campers appreciate the peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and the opportunity for activities like paddle boarding and swimming in the lake.

Absolutely stunning campground. Waking up to the fog over the sparkling water with the mountains in the background was truly priceless. Very quiet, clean, and perfectly spaced campsites-- lots of privacy, but bathrooms always close by. Very close to Glacier National Park without having to be in the touristy/busy area. Jennifer and Rory were absolutely wonderful camp hosts. Because many of the campsites were booked by the time we made reservations, we had to split our stay there with a couple different sites. However, Jennifer and Rory went out of their way to look at the sites available during our stay, find and reserve one for us that we could stay at the whole time versus having to move around the campground. Just overall wonderful experience.

Very rough road getting to the campground. Few Amenities. We left early and boondocked and it was much better.

It accommodated our group fine. Nice and quiet. Bring your own tables. Picnic tables were broken and not safe

Love Emory Bay Campground. The only downfall was when we move to a walk up site for our last 2 days host let 5 cars and a trailer park across from us at another site. One car was totally blocking the bear box that was suppose to be shared with us. Also the pit toilet had ran out of TP one night and thank god I had brought a roll. There definitely should be room for more then 2 rolls in there. Campspots were clean and so was the entire campground except for our 3rd night when a spot with an RV ran their generator until 9:30pm. Not sure what the rules on generator hours are here.

Campsite #4 - Lovely campsite over-looking the lake close to boat ramp

Nice quiet place for a family gathering. There is a scenic overlook. Beautiful. If you want to swim you have to walk about a quarter mile. Not to bad. Swimming is by boat dock but there is lots of room. Nice room for yard games if you want. Nice spot.

Great campground 10 miles from the West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park. Cleanest vault toilets I've seen & the campground is well taken care of. Sunsets with the Continental Divide in the distance were amazing

Nice campground, friendly hosts, decent location. We would stay here again. There are no tent pads and many of the sites don't have a lot of space without vegetation, so if you are tent camping with a medium to large tent, you may end up setting it tent up on the site's parking spot. In July 2022 when we stayed, there were 2 bears reported in the campground but we didn't see them. So be sure to pack bear spray and keep your site clean. The campground was about 10 minutes drive away from cell service toward us. Road leading to the campground from Glacier was in good condition.
