This campground has convinced me there needs to be more campgrounds off of rest stops. Yeah the highway is a little loud, and there is a train that passes by on occasion, but it’s really nice to go on a road trip and pull into a stop like this and find a place to sleep for the night when I’m not in the mood to find a hotel. The campground is clean, the pit toilets are pretty nice, and you can go between the east and west sides of the highway if you need to. Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit, and firewood is available if you need it. Great little spot.

So glad this campground is here. Perfect stop on our way along I90. Definitely some highway noise, and the sites are kinda close together, but it was so much better sleeping in a tent than in the car at the rest stop. Flush toilets in campground were closed, but plenty of pit toilets accessible

Our group camped here while we did a rafting trip with Pangea which is right across the river. Highly recommend both!

This site was great! Lots of space and flexibility on where to set up camp within our site. They kindly provide firewood at the entrance to the left of loop C. Unfortunately the women’s restroom was completely out of toilet paper. Glad I brought my own.
*know that there is not river access from this section of the campground without doing some serious hiking/trailing. It’s beautiful but it’s more of a marsh down by the water

The back loop by the river have great spots to stay at. Yes, the freeway can be heard and the train on the other side of the freeway as well, but it is not bad.

Lovely campsite in the pines near the Clark Fork river. The tent pad was a tight fit but not inadequate for our 10×10 tent. Host was friendly and helpful. Site is located very near the interstate and road noise was persistent throughout the evening, so ear plugs or white noise is advised.
