Nice waypoint on the way home. Some truck and train noise.

Easy access to the freeway for a quick overnight stop. The loops on the north side of I-90 are quieter and you don’t get too much freeway noise. This year the host told us the firewood was free. I would stay there again.

Very well-taken care of - clean sites and bathrooms. My site was roomy and spread out from others, especially for tent camping, with trees in between for privacy. Enjoyed that two pieces of firewood were left for my use, and that you could easily grab a few more pieces from camphost. Camphost was friendly.
Campground was pretty empty for the entirety of my stay but it just added to the peacefulness. Enjoyed that it was close to rest area so you had the option of pit toilets at campground or flush toilets at rest area. Would definitely stop here again while traveling.

What a fantastic hidden gem. We stopped at the rest stop and as we were leaving noticed a camping sign. As it was getting late we decided to check it out. And I’m glad we did. The sites were very nice. We were close to the river and walking trails. Everything was super clean including the restrooms. The host was the best we have ever met. He was friendly and helpful and it was easy to book our specific site on the recreation.gov website. Our experience was so good that we ended up staying there again on our way back through. And had an even better time. Would definitely recommend this campground.

Nice spots, for the price much more comfortable than staying in the rest area.

What an amazing little find! Traveling to The Gorge and this was a great stop. Pulled into a cute, flat site in the evening. The cleanest vault toilet I’ve ever seen. In the woods and just a slight road noise. I’ll stop by again!

I should say it sucks to keep people out. Lol. The place offers a spacious campsite. Mine overlooked the river gorge at the back. Nice restroom, easy access water.Highly recommended

When we arrived someone else was in our reserved site. We went to the camp host and after about an hour it was decided that the husband had rented the site. We then had to go to a different site. Later that evening the host came and told us that the people in our site, A10, were in the wrong loop. We were told that we would be reimbursed for the reservation but I don't think it's hit my card yet.

Great, well maintained campground. Spent 3 nights there. Please note that if you have a 13'6" tall rig, you will not fit through the single lane tunnel. I almost ruined my motorhome and stacker trailer trying. If you enter from the West, and you are in the A Loop, no tunnel required. You just need to leave by the West and get off at the next exit and head East. The exit is very close by. I would recommend a better warning sign about the height of the tunnel.
