Upper Ford Cabin Rental

I was not able to make my reservation

Lots of space. Quite, beautiful setting. Enjoyed the river, birds, and morning sunshine on the deck.

This was our 15th year at the cabin, the cabin was clean, the only problem was lack of tp which we rectified by going to town. The kids kayaked the river both days and we spent hours reminiscing about the experience we have shared. We have established a family tradition that the kids will carry on for some time. We thank the Forest Service for having the cabin and the help they have been over the years. One thing to pass on, we went to town for dinner and one establishment seems to have a problem in being courteous. but fortunately, they have a young lady employed their that did her very best to make up for the rudeness of the other lady. I will leave it at that.

Great time at this beautiful cabin! No cell service makes for a quiet time with a beautiful view.

Recreation.gov cancelled our reservation due to COVID on April 16th per their email to me. Now on June 5th, I'm still fighting for a refund. Numerous emails all are answered confirming our reservation is intact, despite my just asking for the refund they said was forthcoming on April 16th. No one to call, no one else to email except the worthless "no" help desk.

Clean, warm, and spacious! Loved everything about this place!

FS is doing excellent job upkeepung the historic cabin I remember coming when it had just been restored and put on the rental market ...great job

We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the cabin. Previous visitors left smelly garbage in the can, spoiled food in the refrigerator, and dog poop all around the cabin. Our experience would have been much more enjoyable if the previous visitors followed the suggested rules and had consideration for others.

Great Cabin right on the creek. Plenty of Brook trout if you like fishing.

We have been renting this cabin once a year for about the last 12 years. It is now a family tradition, that our college age grand kids are making sure Grandpa rents it again next year, the campfire stories are something they will treasure and remember for the rest of their lives. Cabin is clean when we come and clean when we leaved. The honor system works very well.
