The site was ok. We liked the proximity to everything but the site itself was TINY - even the tent pad was smaller than footprint. The photo was deceptive and we thought the site would be much larger.
Otherwise, the campground was adequate and we enjoyed exploring the park.

We had a lovely stay at Apgar Campground. We loved how it was so close to the timed entrance, as we were able to easily gain access to The Going to the Sun Road.

I really enjoyed my stay at Apgar campground, though I had some apprehension prior to my visit as I've never stayed in a National Park campground and I was concerned about hordes of people. The way the sites are laid out, in 5 different loops, make it seem much smaller. It really felt peaceful and uncrowded. The campground monitors/volunteers were very nice and super helpful. I used the shower in the A loop one time and it was just fine and the restroom near my site was very nice too. The site is very conveniently located with reasonably short walks or even shorter bike rides on a beautiful trail to both the visitor center and the park services area. I'd definitely stay at Apgar again.
