What Guests Are Saying
Avalanche Campground is a well-maintained, clean campground with excellent access to popular hiking trails, including Avalanche Lake and the Trail of the Cedars. While some sites lack privacy and amenities like hot showers, the beautiful surroundings and convenient location make it a recommended choice for campers. Roomy, close to water and bathrooms.
Just wish we had known fires were OK earlier so we could have purchased some firewood on the way!

One of the most beautiful campgrounds I’ve been to. Cedar trees everywhere, walking distance to trail heads. Will be back

Avalanche Campground is clean, well maintained, and has a very friendly and helpful Campground Host couple! The campground is a great location for leaving your vehicle at your campsite and enjoying an early morning hike to Avalanche Lake! Check out isn’t until noon, so it’s a great hike option, and a beautiful destination at the end of the climb up!

Great campsite in a great National Park. It wasn't secluded but still had sufficient separation from other sites. Short walk to Avalanche Lake trailhead which was a great hike. (Go early).
I would try to stay here again. Reservations are hard to get, check daily.
