Clean and well maintained campground - great to be able to jump in the lake for a swim after a day of hiking.

We have visited Fish Creek and camped for over 50 years.
We haven't been able to go for the past 3 years because of the difficulty of getting a reservation! I would warn anyone who has a big rig to not even try to camp because the sites are small and it is difficult to get around the loops which were built before trailers and RVs were.
I feel truly sorry for people who have driven a long distance, and try to get into the park without a reservation or a vehicle permit. The daily permits are available at 8 am the day before and they are gone in 3 minutes!

We came in last minute and we’re lucky to get a spot. The lady working the check in station when we arrived was the sweetest and most helpful person I have ever talked to. I love the park staff… except one interaction with a younger lady working the station for iceberg lake. She was like a robot and just acted like it was a burden on her to be doing her job. Other then that the camp sites and the time there was incredible and I will be coming back every year.

Easy and fast check-in process, the campsite was clean, and the bathrooms were clean and accessible. Excellent experience overall!

The campground was great other than the shower situation. There are only showers on loop A which are quite far from the other loops and there is no parking at the showers. You may want to just jump in the lake though because they are literally the most disgusting and dirty showers I have ever seen in my life!

This was a great campsite, very quiet area of the campground when we were there. Large enough to set up our 12x15 tent easily with room to spare. There is access to walk on the lakefront farther down Loop C. Only downside is that the only showers are in Loop A, but we were able to park in the amphitheater parking lot to save some walking to and from the showers.

The camp ground was awesome. It was quiet and a very relaxing atmosphere, that was very close to the Apgar Visitors Cemter and Apgar Village. The ONLY negative for us, was the sloped site for our travel trailer. This is not true for all of the spots, but was for ours and we only had a 16 1/2’ TT.
There is no water hook ups, except for your water bottles. There is a dump station by the entrance/exit.

First time visiting the park. Hope to return many more times. Really enjoyed the ranger programs each evening at the amphitheater. Very informative, and well done.
