Wow everyone was so friendly and inviting, apparently I lucked out and had the best spot in the campground next to the river, spot 94. It's an incredible place close to many great hiking trails. Definitely no phone service there though! Fyi

We booked a trail ride at the corral in Many Glacier and took the boat ride to Josephine Lake, among other activities. We camped at Many Glacier and thought it was a nice campsite with clean bathrooms. We bought some food at the restaurants and cooked some nights. The store is small and only has food essentials
so it’s best to bring in whatever food you need.

Lots of great hikes start here -- however, didn't have the best luck with seeing the stars at night.

Great location in Many Glacier Campground, close to trailheads and convenient for hiking. Large, clean bathrooms. We had a moose and her baby walk through the campground.

The campground is excellent! It is not well suited for large RV's probably no longer than 30 feet as the sites are small. With that said, the proximity to hiking is perfect. I did not check the bathrooms so I cannot speak to their cleanliness. My only real complaint was that if you stay for 7 days in an RV and need water, you must go to the dump area to refill. There is water nearby where it would be easy to refill without breaking camp however the camp host stopped me in my tracks. (We were camped 20 feet from the faucet). There were however many people filling up 7 gallon containers to take back to their rig to refill while all I had was a hose. There were campers washing dishes under the same faucet even though the sign clearly said no dish washing. The camp host was located next to the water and ignored all other violators. We didn't make a fuss but by the way that he handled the situation really put a damper on our trip.

Only negative is the 12mile approach road. In dire need of repair. The park is beautiful. Enjoyed bike rides on the roads. Wildlife viewing was spectacular. Get out and hike, it heals your soul.

The park is getting very crowded. The road coming into Many Glacier in very rough. Very scenic.

Many Glacier Campground is accessible via Glacier National Park roads, which connect to US Highway 2 approximately 25 miles to the south. US Highway 2 is the nearest major road providing access to the campground.

Policies & Rules
General
- Make Sure You Book the Correct Campsite! You are responsible for reading the site alerts and booking a site that will accommodate your equipment. Most campsites and driveways are very small and will not accommodate towed units over 21 feet (6.4 m). A limited number of sites can accommodate towed units 26 to 30 feet (8 to 9 m). Many campsites will not accommodate camper 'slide-outs'. If you must use slide-outs, please make a reservation at St. Mary Campground, located 22 miles (35 km) from Many Glacier and 1/2 mile (.8 km) along the Going-to-the-Sun Road.
- Entrance Fees. The park entrance fee is $35 per vehicle and $20 for hiker or bicyclist. The entrance fee is valid for seven days (and may be purchased upon arrival or in advance). The park honors Interagency annual and lifetime passes.
- Food Storage and Wildlife. Grizzly and black bears frequent the area. Food storage regulations are strictly enforced. When not in immediate use, all food, beverages, coolers, cooking and eating utensils, toiletries, pet food, or other attractants must be kept in a closed, hard-sided vehicle or secured in bear resistant lockers located throughout the campground.
- Rules and Regulations. It is the camper's responsibility to be aware of all Glacier National Park Campground Rules and Regulations
- Maximum Stay. Camping is limited to 14 days between July 1 and Labor Day, and 30 days between Labor Day and June 30.
- No Hookups. There are no electric, water or sewer hookups at individual campsites. Shared water spigots are located throughout the campground. One dump station is conveniently located at the entrance to the campground.
- Generator free sites are # 48 - 59, 71, and # 86- 102. Other sites allow generator use only during the hours of , , and .
- No Phone or Cell Connectivity. There is no public phone or cell phone coverage in or near Many Glacier Campground. The closest phone service is 12 miles (19 km) east in the town of Babb, MT.
- Maximum Number of Tents. Campsites allow a maximum of 2 tents per site.
- Hammocks. Hammocks must be hung over non vegetated areas using one inch straps or wider. Vegetation may not be trampled to access hammocks.
- Renting an RV or trailer? Per 36 CFR 5.3, commercial business may not take place inside Glacier National Park. This includes RVs and trailers being delivered within Glacier's boundaries. Renters of these must drive them in themselves.
