Beautiful, but cold. Super friendly rangers around.

Nice campground with free showers. Site B58 was very strange though - the water spigot for this area of the campground was in the very back of my campsite, so dozens of people a day awkwardly walked into my site (past me and all my camping setup) to grab their water. Really don't understand why they wouldn't put the spigot in a communal location...
It was really annoying to have almost no privacy at my site because of this, but obviously it's not the fault of the people just trying to get water. The park really messed up when they designed this site...
Otherwise, the location of the campground is great and there was decent cell reception.

This is our 2nd visit to St Mary's. We were in Loop A and our site was a bit tight for our 30' trailer. Site was for 32', but we got in past the brush and small trees. The bathrooms were very clean and everything was well maintained. The camp host was very nice and informed us about local trees and flowers. Will stay again!

Excellent campground. Slightly noisy bathroom electricity generators and after-quiet-hours music one of the nights we were there. But cannot beat the location. We saw the aurora borealis (northern lights)!!

The campground is older, but perfectly fine. There was a fire at some point in the past and that wiped out larger trees. Our site had some small aspens and some scrub brush. Other sites were out in the open. Use google earth to choose your site. There are water faucets in the campground but they’re not east to find. Maybe a map including those would be good. The cell reception is excellent and you’re close to the exit to the park. All good. The park is AMAZING.

Verizon speeds of 51Mbps download and 25 upload with a roof mounted Pepwave antenna. I couldn't get ATT to run a speed test on my phone. TMobile was roaming. Limited tree cover so Starlink and solar would work well.
This is a good spot to explore Glacier and it has good views. The sites themselves are overgrown and difficult to navigate much like Many Glacier. The B loop road is one way which puts your camp side on the road side depending on which spot you're in. The access road is in reasonable shape.
The site was very unlevel at 6 inches off side to side. Front to back was fine

It was a fine campground. The generator rules were a bit confusing but we learned quickly. No grate to cook on for the fire pit was a bummer but we made due. The views were amazing and everyone we spoke to was wonderful.

I loved that all the sights were pull thru. We had a noisy generator nearby, but spoke with the camp host and there were on it and followed thru! Excellent campground!

We had an amazing experience at St Mary Campground. A special word for the Ranger Program in the evening. Ranger Frank John gave us a a good information session on Grizzlies. He added anecdotal experiences and also involved the audience in short activities. Heartfelt Thanks for all the Rangers and Hosts for making it a memorable experience for us.
