The spots are nice and fairly private. There are lots of bathrooms, so there’s always one nearby. The shower house was a giant plus and the campsite hosts were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We even saw a bear swim across the creek behind the campground on our first night. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Enjoyed day hikes and then a quiet campground to come back too.

Stayed in C104, great site for
smaller camper and offered some privacy. Loved the place; restrooms clean and very quiet.

Enjoyed the experience, considering the number of park visitors. Scenic overlooks and hiking trails are the best. Campgrounds much appreciated. Shower building needed a little attention cleaning.
But overall park visit was one of my top 10 in US. Thanks for all the hard work the park personnel put into the park.

We stayed at site c104 and I would definitely stay there again. It was one of the few sites in the campground with some [small] trees, which created a bit of privacy on a couple of sides. We were also able to hang a shade/rain tarp over our tent using said trees.
The view was also stunning. There are massive mountains looming over the campground. The bathroom is close and clean and the rangers are friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed the ranger talk held at the campground. Sadly the bathroom with the showers was closed for maintenance our whole stay but these things happen and while it was an inconvenience it didn’t detract from my opinion of the campground.
There’s a nice half circle driveway at the front of each site. We comfortably fit two vehicles and a mini camper there. The tent pad accommodated our 6 person tent and was set about 20 feet back from the driveway.
The campground is right off of the Going-to-the-Sun road so driving into the park is quick and easy. There are also some small stores right outside of the park in St. Mary 5 minutes from the campground. One of the stores is a small but well-stocked outfitter in case you forgot anything at home (hiking packs, water filters, outdoor clothing including shoes and more). It’s adjacent to an ice cream + sandwich shop and the huckleberry ice cream is a must! There’s a gas station, and a modest beer, wine and grocery store there as well.

The views were stunning! We saw black bears and deer from our tent. The downside was that it was very loud. You could hear everything your neighbors were doing and saying which made it difficult to tent camp. There’s also no protection from the wind. It gets very windy, so prepare for that especially if you are tent camping!

Great location for exploring Glacier National Park. Crowded with little privacy, but was still very quiet and relaxing. We managed to find a spot for our 35ft 5th wheel. Sight was a bit unlevel, but we managed.
