Sites on this campground differ so much. My initial one (in loop B) was not private at all, surrounded by really loud people drinking one beer after another, with unpleasant neighbors sitting really close to me on the same little green lawn (picnic tables were super close). I was alone and felt uncomfortable with that drinking crew, so I managed to find another unoccupied site in the late evening (in loop A) and move there. Unfortunately the online system didn't let me to change my site, so I had to pay for a new spot. Loop A was much more pleasant with great views.

Awesome campsite! The hosts were a bit absent when needed but that really wasn't too big of a deal. Being right by the lake is incredible!

We stayed in site c152, not a great site for two tents very cramped but we made due. Bathrooms were very clean but extremely long lines for showers at night but over all experience was good

Something must be done about the bar in St. Mary that does LOUD karaoke until 2:00 am on Monday and Wednesday. It is impossible to sleep in a tent in this campground on those nights.
Otherwise, it was perfect. The ranger talks were some of the best we have listened to anywhere.

The campground is beautiful! I will say I didn’t know this spot would be a shared campsite, so just keep in mind you are right on top of the site over if you’re tent camping. Overall still a good stay!

Only 2 working showers for entire campground. Bathroom wasn't cleaned for 3 days. Entire campground is covered with scrubby undergrowth type of vegetation that feels very unkempt, unmaintained, and unattractive. Very few trees. Each site needs its own bear box. Having to share communal boxes actually discourages their use because you worry that someone else will take your stuff.
