East Side is the Best Side! St Mary's Campground was a perfect base for us to explore the East Side of the park. The views from Loop C are amazing, so don't miss taking an evening stroll up there to see how beautiful the sunsets are. Bathrooms were clean and well stocked and while there was sometimes a line for the showers, it always moved quickly. Loved that we could walk to the visitor's center to get our bearings (no pun intended) on our first day. Camp host was awesome and super nice!
Glacier is an amazing park with so much to offer. Definitely would not miss the St Mary's and Virginia waterfalls hike.

This was a nice spot - close to the bathrooms, yet secluded. There was plenty of space, but no trees to set up our hammock. It's surrounded by berry bushes, but thankfully no wild friends came to visit.
The sites are kind of close together. The neighbors across from us thought it was ok to blast music until about 1:30am.
But overall, it was very nice.

Epic views and tidy spaces. I think we even heard elk bugling from our camp spot!

The campground was fairly full, yet we found an open spot. Drinking water was available, but only at blue pumps around the grounds. The views are wonderful, if the clouds lift. The hosts were polite, helpful and cheerful. We had a really nice experience. Make sure to make the reservation online before entering, as internet isn't great. The welcome center has wifi upon entering the East entrance.

St. Mary Campground was such a peaceful place to unwind after a day on the road. It was quiet, clean and it had amazing views. We even had a nightly visitor in the form of a young buck that wandered through our campsite!
