Sites are tight but workable even with a 29’ TT. Water is conveniently located throughout the CG. Walking distance to the river and SM visitors center. Conveniently right off Going to the Sun Road just inside the park entrance. Great atmosphere and beautiful

This site is the best one we saw in the campground. Plenty of room to spread out and not too close to neighbors!

Early June was a great time to see the park with smaller crowds but the Going to the Sun Road was still closed because of the snow pack. The campground experience was wonderful. I developed a bad valve stem in one of the tires on our Airstream but the attendant at the campground booth told me about Lube and Tube in Browning as well as the shortcut to get there. The tire was fixed in just a few minutes and we were back in business for the rest of our trip which tallied 5,400 mi. We would love to return again and stay longer than the two days we were able to snag reservations for on our trip. It is a hiker's NP for sure.

The campground works for a short-term place to park and sleep while exploring the park, but the facilities are in terrible disrepair and the general campground offers little other than proximity to the national park.

Our site was wide enough to pull our large RV into. I also loved the availability of the showers.
