Love the Las Vegas Bay Campground! Because it's been waiting for new power and internet upgrades they seen to have let everything go. I camp in the "No Generator Use Area". When the drip irrigation system came on there were more than 10 drip heads missing so water poured out of 1/2 inch pipes for more than 30 (Thirty) minutes! I had to change my campsite 4 times (thank goodness it's easy to do on recreation.gov) before I could find one that was not overrun by ants. Having said all that, if you haven't been there recently, mother nature via the Hillary tropical storm, has carved out many new beautiful areas in the wash. The "Pillars" are more beautiful than ever. If you don't live to far away give it a try this fall (2023) if you can find a good campsite.

For a dry docking campground it is well located, but in the height of summer in Las Vegas there is no way you can stay there in an RV without running your generator. You would get very sick or die in you rig.

A clean, well-kept, and quiet place to camp for a few days. Highly recommend it to anyone.

Someone named Bob and I'm assuming his wife, came and started harassing us about our reservation and something he called a tag. Very unappreciated and inappropriate. Also coyotes were stalking us at our campsite. #32

Did never see the host hehehe but some other folks cleaning looks like we’re very helpful, stayed at the no generator area and went for two night ended up staying 4, a couple of loud folks and kids but it is expected. Pet friendly was a super plus. Will be back late October

This campground needs a host that is on site.
We experienced generators running all night. Generators were running at 5 AM.
People coming in at night and leaving early in the morning. I am sure the park is losing money all because there is no host on site. It will be difficult to get things under control if this continues.

Located just minutes from Las Vegas off Lakeshore Road within the park between near the city of Henderson, Nevada. Take Lake Mead Parkway east to the park entrance. Follow the road about 2.5 miles. Turn left onto Lakeshore Drive and take your first left onto Las Vegas Campground Road. You’ll arrive at the campground in about 1 mile.
Policies & Rules
General
- Lake Mead NRA does require an entrance fee in addition to camping fees. Entrance fees can be purchased on rec.gov or at entrance station locations.• Site capacity maximum is eight persons and four tents or one camping unit (motorhome/camp trailer).• Each site can have a maximum of two motorized vehicles, four motorcycles or a combination thereof if towed or carried on or by a camper. ## Reservations are required for all sites through this reservation system and can be made the same day as arrival. Cash is not accepted, and sites can only be booked through rec.gov.• Motor vehicles must be parked in designated parking areas only and may not be driven onto the dirt or across irrigation ditches. • The campground can accommodate RVs, but there are no hookups. • Camping in the park is limited to a total of 90 days within any consecutive 12-month period.• Camping is limited to 30 days in any developed campground.• All trash must be disposed of in appropriate trash or recycling receptacles. • Pets must be kept on a leash not to exceed 6-feet in length and should not be left unattended. Never leave your pet in a closed vehicle. Pet excrement must be disposed of in trash containers.• Please do not feed wildlife. Wild animals can become dependent on handouts of food and lose their fear of humans. This is dangerous for the wildlife and you. • Trees can provide refreshing shade and a windbreak for campers. It is illegal to cut or damage any tree in a national park. Please do not hang hammocks or other items from plants/trees.• Fires are permitted in grills, fire rings, portable stoves, portable barbecues and portable fireplaces in all campgrounds.• Fires should not be left unattended and must be completely extinguished with water, doused and stirred. • A campground host is available onsite to offer assistance. Wireless internet (WIFI) is not available at any campgrounds managed by Lake Mead National Recreation Area
