Good campground, sites were close to each other and not too many trees. It is the desert after all. I went in February and the temperatures were perfect for camping with my trailer - around 40 degrees at night. Lots of coyotes howling at night which was cool. Dump station and potable water on the way was a bonus too.

Great campground, quiet. We did have to run coyotes out a couple of times, but they run off when you yell at them.

We came for a quick fishing trip with four little boys from California. The campground was clean, the neighbors and staff were friendly, the location was beautiful, and the weather was perfect. We cannot wait to come back!

I love this campground for the views. I liked it more when you could just drive in and get a spot and pay. Now the iPhone app does not like to work and I have to go through the webpage. Not convenient on a phone. Many times the app shows it is full when there are sites available.

Camping at Las Vegas Bay campground was such a great experience. So good that I've re-booked 3 time. The grounds are kept clean, most site are treed, providing shade and shelter from the wind and other than the wildlife it is quiet at night. I really appreciate the no generator section. Plenty of hiking and cycling in the area and I've seen several visitors with kayaks. The campground supervisors are always friendly and they're around most days if you have any concerns or questions. I wouldn't change a thing and I hope this campground is the same when I return next year.

With no electricity this campground is as good as one can be without electricity. The Verizon coverage sucks but if you hold your phone just right, I did find 3 bars but nothing more than 2 bars pretty much. Very clean and 15 minutes from walmart.

Site 30 is large and accommodated our roof top tent and annex. It is on the outside loop of the non-generator sites. It does get a bit of wind from one side. It’s as far away from the bathroom as possible which we like. But, the water is there too so you have to carry it a bit. Lots of coyotes walking through the campsites. Dude across from us was feeding them and naming them. Just be aware if you have small dogs.

It’d be nice for the old car that looks like it’s been sitting in abandoned camp host spot for many years to be removed.

I have camped at the Las Vegas Bay Campground more than a dozen times and it has always been a fun experience. I am a tent camper and Las Vegas Bay has set aside about a dozen sites that are in their own cul-de-sac where generators are not allowed. The campsite is well run, mostly clean and is nicely landscaped (considering it's in the middle of the desert). Unfortunately the power and lighting has been out for several months with no schedule for when it will be repaired. The campground parallels the Las Vegas Wash where there are lots of
If you don't mind taking a flashlight with you to the usually very clean bathrooms give this campground a try.
