We had such a blast at this campground! It's gorgeous- and the park rangers were so friendly. We loved this campsite the most out of any of the Smoky Mountains campsites we tried.

Great campsite, all areas would be great to stay...best thing is the cleanliness of the camp area.

Our visit to Deep Creek Campground near Bryson City, NC was fun. The campground was well maintained, there were hiking trails within walking distance to our campsite, and the campground hosts were friendly. We visited in the 2nd week of October, so we had decent autumn colors in the leaves.

Great campground. Hot showers would be a nice improvement.

Staff was very helpful. The general store up the road is a wonderful place for firewood. Smokemont stables is a short drive and also has a wonderful staff and scenery.

I'm writing a review specifically of Site 58. You should be aware that you will not be able to level any kind of RV or trailer on this site because of the incline. I would have needed about 8 or 9 inches of lift to level it and that's getting pretty absurd. We have a 20' RV with a short wheelbase too. You likely won't be reading this review until it's too late the same way I read about the inability to level from a review _after_ I was already booked....

Campground and bathrooms are well kept and clean. Staff are friendly and make regular patrols. There is cell service which is nice to have.

Nice campsite, however, sites are ON TOP of each other. No rangers to enforce quiet time so loud neighbors are heard all night. Liked the campground, but probably won’t go back because of the closeness of sites.

Although we arrived around 8, the camp hosts came out to greet us and give us our tag. The site was spacious, easy to back into and mostly level. There is lots to do in the Bryson City area too. Great weekend!
