This is an amazing campground for the GSNP. I will honestly go no where else, because I'm not sure there's much else you would need. It's quiet, peaceful and located in a great location next to Bryson City. You are on the doormat of the GSNP and right at Deep Creek for everything you are looking for. River, floating, fishing, waterfalls, hiking, exploring. One of my top 10 spots to camp at.

Hidden gem of a campground in the GSMNP. Small, not crowded ( we were there Mother’s Day weekend) and quiet. Very nice camp host. Bathrooms were sparkling clean. Site 89 was perfect size and level for our 25 ft RV & Jeep Wrangler. Can walk from campground to trailhead of a loop to see 3 waterfalls. Definitely recommend

A beautiful, quiet campground with a creek running past it. A short carry from the parking area to the sites. Perfect for tent campers. The only drawbacks are the close-packed sites and the light in the restroom that stays on all night.

Signage off the highway left me lost and I had to consult maps and gps to find the campground

Excelente! El lugar es hermoso. Sólo que no hay regaderas en los baños.

For tent campers the lower loop of Deep Creek campground is almost perfect. All the sites are a short walk in. Sites are crowded together a bit, but there is still plenty of space. If the lights in the restroom didn't stay on at full intensity all night, it would be perfect.

Nice quiet location, bathrooms clean, camp host helpful. I would stay here again.

Site was adequate, bathrooms were clean and well maintained. We would have appreciated clearer indications of where the nearby trailheads are. There were very few other campers during our visit, but we were right next to others. Maybe there could be some way of indicating what sites are already reserved when choosing sites.

table is only 15 feet away from table of campsite 61, parking lot is flat and can fit 2 cars side by side. from parking lot is a short steep hill to camp area 20 feet, there's a tent pad. i had to go though other empty campsites to get to restrooms. i had tents only. campsite up againt a hill, could feel cornered due to not flat terrain and fire ring againt hill can't sit fully around it. nice hike and trails.
