Deep Creek Campground offers a clean, well-organized environment with beautiful scenery and ample opportunities for family fun, such as tubing and hiking. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the campground's proximity to nature, making it a great spot for camping memories. However, some guests noted noise issues and close campsite spacing as areas for improvement. Overall, Deep Creek remains a cherished destination for many repeat visitors.

Stood for 3 nights for my friend's birthday weekend at site 7. Deep Creek located near tourist town with lots of shopping and some museums. If you want to take train ride do reservation online ahead, during COVID they have only 50% of tickets. Some nice easy trails are near. No showers, bring your solar bag. Hammocks are allowed there.

Lots of waterfall trails very close to site. Two trails allow bikes which was nice. Creek is loud and beautiful. Great experience.

Though this campground was a bit far from all the things we were looking to do, we really enjoyed camping here! The grounds were really nice and clean, bathrooms were clean, and having the hikes nearby were great as well. The river right next to our campsite was an added bonus!

In a Sylvan Sport GO with 2 person tent as well. The paved surface (like a number of the sites) is on a slope. The GO (12 ft trailer) just fit on the more level area. There were a number of campers making a lot of use of blocks and chocks on the hills. Otherwise, the site was nice, close to the bathroom - but not too close. We did not find the proximity to other campsites an issue.

All facilities looked good. Restrooms too were kept good (just nee to fix the door lock on one of the restroom).

We had a good level site with nice big trees for a hammock. There is a well maintained clean building with flush toilets and sinks with running water. We found wonderful hiking trails and beautiful waterfalls.
