Deep Creek Campground offers a clean, well-organized environment with beautiful scenery and ample opportunities for family fun, such as tubing and hiking. Many visitors appreciate the friendly staff and the campground's proximity to nature, making it a great spot for camping memories. However, some guests noted noise issues and close campsite spacing as areas for improvement. Overall, Deep Creek remains a cherished destination for many repeat visitors.

Beautiful and quiet campground where the primary sound you hear is the river flowing. Plenty of trailheads near by for some great hiking. Quick drive into Bryson City for anything you might need.

The campsite was near some short hikes, which is always nice to have near. A quick walk to a waterfall before turning in.

Good for tents, very few sites actually work well for SMALL campers. Visit campground first to determine which sites may work for your camper.
Sites are newly paved and are SHORT. Suggest pop up or something SMALL. Water every 3-4 sites and bathrooms are nearby, no showers. Very busy campground. Road leading in is very busy. Great spot for families that like to tube down the creek.

Beautiful area. If you are interested in easy hikes to see waterfalls this is your place. There are a lot of activities in the area, too.
If you are a primative camper/hiker, there were many people in the area and a fair amount of commercialization.

We visited during a very rainy weekend but still had a great time. Our GPS took us on a small two lane then one lane dirt forest road. We wouldn’t go that way. Stay on main roads. Site 44 was a great site for us!
