Nice location by the creek makes it a relaxing campground. The walk in sites are packed in way too close together though feeling like you're on top of others with no personal space. People constantly have to walk through your site to get anywhere

The campground is beautiful; Deep Creek runs right through it and is so picturesque. There is also a nice, popular hiking trail from the park to some of the best waterfalls in the Smokies, with additional access to longer trails beyond. My campsite was clean when I arrived; I stayed on the far loop in the back, which is much more private than the sites in the front, which looked to me a little crowded. The bathrooms are fine--you are camping, after all! The location is also a good distance from town--near enough for supplies, far enough away that there is no traffic noise. I highly recommend this campground!

Campground had been slammed Labor Day Weekend. Our arrival @ 1pm the day after Labor Day the effects still evident. Rest Rooms didn’t get cleaned until 2 pm. The staff that were available were doing the best they could.

We loved being able to reserve campsite on line like all other major campgrounds are doing, We drive a long way to get to Deep Creek and in past has always been difficult not knowing you had a campsite. Great System. Always great campground and staff
