Beautiful campground on the mountain. The sights are very tight to back into and are exact measurements.

Such a great campground! We always love being up there and we feel that it is a place where we truly "disconnect". No Wi-Fi access for us, which is refreshing and feels more like camping. We will be back!

Camp hosts were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed talking to them. Our campsite was maintained pretty well. We had trees/bushes on 3 sides so we had pretty good privacy. There was plenty of room for the tent, a hammock, sitting around the fire, and we had our main tent set up in the bed of the truck. The parking spot backed into the site which was perfect for the truck tent. We were near 2 bathrooms. The one for our loop was okay and did not have a shower. The other loop had a bathroom with a shower and seemed much cleaner/newer. The shortcut trail to the store was not too far from this site either. It did rain a lot the weekend we were there, but it didn't stop us from getting a couple of hikes in. The campground had starting points for the Frying Pan and the Mount Pisgah trails that we ended up doing. We would definitely stay here again and at the same site.

Had a great visit to Mt Pisgah Campground. It was a little rough start trying to find a level site, but we are newbies and finally figured out how to find the most level part of an unlevel site. It is a lovely shaded campground. The bathrooms were clean. The Park ranger Lucinda and the site host Mark were very helpful helping us to figure it all out. There are a couple of convenient hiking trails right near the campground and many others not far away. Cell phone coverage is spotty, yet some nights we were able to read email and send texts. Most of all it was 58 degrees in the mornings in August!

Some sites are better than others. Ours was nice (C19). It was recommended by somebody else. Not quite big enough for our screenhouse but it really wasn't needed. There are tons of things to do and see if you are an outdoor enthusiast. Devils Courthouse, Black Balsam, Graveyard Fields and Cradle of Forestry are all nearby. Dupont State Forest is also very close by

Love this campground, we’ve camped here a few times and every time we come it’s been wonderful! Quiet campground, spacious sites, beautiful area, trails lead right from the grounds, camp store nearby, rangers close by for questions if needed. Plenty of bathrooms and showers available. Right off the blue ridge parkway, easily accessible. We love this area!
