This is a beautiful campground, draped in lush foliage. We stayed at site D11 with a fully covered tent pad under low-hanging trees. Each site has its own food locker. The showers and bathrooms were clean and comfortable. From the campground, countless trails connect to the larger trails of the Pisgah National Forest. I accessed the trail to summit Mt. Pisgah from a trailhead only a few sites from ours.
There was no electricity at the site we stayed.
It was incredibly rainy, and pouring for the three days and two nights we stayed. Neither the tent pad nor the site flooded, however. Good drainage.
The Pisgah Inn is just across the street along with a camp store. You can get just about anything you need including prepared food.

This is one of the coolest campgrounds I have ever been too! The Rhododendron groves add so much privacy and the bathrooms and showers are easily accessible! The staff was super friendly, knowledgeable and encouraging! I will definitely visit this spot again!

Wonderful campground. Well maintained with lots of shade. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Easy access to hiking trails and close to the camp store and lodge. We'll go back.

Campsites are nice enough but the bathouse/restrooms could us an upgrade. Wouldn’t keep me from staying there again. Beautiful area.

This was our second visit to this wonderful campground and we would recommend it highly. Nice campsites and well kept grounds with clean bathhouses. Great location on the Blue Ridge Parkway, convenient to Asheville and many other places of interest such as the North Carolina Arboretum and the Folk Art Center. Many hiking trails in the vicinity as well. A couple of more showers would be a nice addition, but overall we would rate this campground an A plus!

I love how the sites are nestled underneath the canopy of the rhododendron, mountain laurel and trees. The sites are private

Had a lovely campsite, pretty private but close to the bathrooms. Bathrooms were kept very clean and shower was good, although there is just one in the loop. We had lots of bird life near our site and the tent pad was level so rain didn’t pool.
