Nice location. Close to amenities but far enough away to be peaceful. Power at each site. Water spigots close by. Spacious, private sites with lantern posts and fire pits.
Nice hiking trails nearby.

Clean, open, spacious campground with nice bathhouse, easy access to water and electricity. We tented and putting tents up off the grass in the dirt areas as requested was difficult. Be sure to bring a mallet. While the campground was very quiet, road sounds in the distance were significant, probably given the wind direction of when we were there.

There was only one shower working out of five showers. The handicap shower was not working either. There was nothing from the host as to why it wasn’t working. Never really saw the house the whole time we were there.

I gave a bad review because there was only one shower working out of five showers. This was ridiculous. There were no signs on any of the showers as to what the reason were and you didn’t know it until you got in the shower and turned it on that it was not working even the handicap shower wasn’t working

Love this campground. Had 2 weeks reserved but I got sick and needed to leave to have tests done at hospital. Tried to cancel 2nd week but no one returned my call. Camp host should be able to cancel reservations if nobody wants to return calls. Camp host was nice and tried to help but she couldn’t cancel reservation. Next time I will reserve 2 weeks separately.

It is always wise to check the weather forecast prior to your arrival, particularly during these months. |
