Great campground for the price! Bath houses are a little outdated, but ok for the most part. We will definitely stay again!

Very clean and quiet campground. The host was extremely pleasant. The sites were spacious and well maintained as were the bath houses. Even though we had a 33 ft travel trailer, there was ample room to back into our site. I would recommend staying here.

The site was clean. The bathroom was extremely clean. The whole campground seemed well run. I just wish I could've reserved a site with shade.

If you're tenting and not in an RV, be aware that the ground is very hard about 1-2 inches under the surface. You will have a difficult time getting your aluminum tent stakes deep enough to be effective, and will bend most of them. I recommend Steel tent stakes at this location. Otherwise the campground was nice for a September stay.

In the past it was a 5, but in September the bugs were so bad I cancelled my reservation five days early because I was so bitten up I could not stay another minute, and no money refunded for cancellation of five nights! Very frustrated, Joan

We stayed in site #18 and enjoyed it very much. The site was large enough for my motorhome and car. It was also a double site so I had room for family to stop by and sty for a few days with us. The camp host was very friendly and visited a few times while we were there. This campground is very close to Emerald Isle and has many convenient shops and restaurants in the area.
