Sites are too close together. People next to us had 4 tents and the host thought it was fine. One was less than 10 feet from our camper.

The campground was very well kept I wish the sites had been cleared of the leaves, it was very slick because of this. The fire ring needs some help, it needs to be replaced because of holes in the ring. The dump station was closed very early in the season there was the threat of freezing but it did not while we were there. The road to the campground was terrible it needs to be regraded or paved.

Bath house not as clean or cared for as my last visit. Lower loop camp host is living in a utility trailer with a large, vicious dog that tries to attack you if you come near the site to check in. Upper loop camp hosts are nice, but rarely leave their site and don't update the reservation tags at the sites. Cleaning schedules in the bath house have not been updated in over a year.

The campground was nice. Clean and spacious campsites. The RV pad we had was not very level and required a bit of work to level our camper. We walked the five + mile trail along the lakeshore. The trail is right on the edge of the water, too close in fact. There is a lot of erosion and toppled trees and the trail itself has fallen in in places. we saw a lot of trash floating in the lake and every tree over a good fishing spot was festooned with fishing tackle. The trail markers on the second half of the trail were very indistinct and need to be repainted.

I’ve stayed here many times but this may have been one of the best! Camp hosts were visible and helpful, but not intrusive.
Dump station was closed but camp hosts were helpful in finding a solution.
