All in all, it is a nice campground, but does have need of improvement. Weekends are the busiest time. The trash cans were empty when we arrived Thursday but they dont pick up trash again till Monday. The trash areas are overwhelmed by Sunday morning. We stayed from Thursday afternoon until Monday afternoon. On Monday morning, the trash cans were still overfull as no one empties them through the weekend. The non electric campers were using the outlets in the bathrooms for charging cell phones and running electric cooking appliances. On Sarurday evening, they had the bathroom crowded and we could not get to the sinks. They made no effort to move for the people using the shower facilties. The bathroom sink area was clean when we arrived on Thursday but was disgusting by Sunday morning. No one cleans the rest room facilities during the busiest times - the weekend. There was a clogged sink and a clogged toilet all 4 days we were there.
The campsites themselves are nice. Our fire pit was full to the top with ash and hadn't been cleaned out recently.
The boat launch dock is in need of repair. All of the boat tie offs are broken or in rotted wood. They should have signs and enforcement keeping people from swimming/ diving at the boat dock. We had issues everytime we came back to the dock with the boat. Young people were using the dock as a personal swimming area and lounging area and didnt want to move when the boats would come in. It's a safety hazard.

The campground was well maintained and even though the sites were full, it still felt quiet. The bathrooms were clean enough, although hand soap isn’t provided. We enjoyed some fishing and walking trails as well.

First trip to this campsite. Perfect for a weekend get away! Showers/restrooms were clean and spacious inside the building. Outside needed a good cleaning. Folks were friendly and courteous in the campsite. Hiking/biking trails went for miles upon miles.
