My friends and I overall enjoyed our stay. I subtracted one star due to the bathrooms being of sub-par conditions compared to prior stays at this campground.

This is a good place if you want to go through the woods on paved pathways and/or drive 4x4's nearby. You can get down to the river almost entirely on paved paths, so that's helpful for people who prefer or need those. The campsites are fairly large despite being close to your neighbors, but not in an invasive way. The bathrooms were fantastic. Not buggy, large areas for showers with privacy, just great. It's a bring your own soap, though. And they have family bathrooms if you need to take all the kids in at the same time. Water pumps for washing dishes - I'm not sure if it was drinkable. Good place if you like to stay up chatting around the campfire until 10pm, and there are probably other areas were there is more privacy.

Very well kept and quiet campground. Close to all the activities in the National Forest. Bathhouse is very clean as well. Highly recommended!

We love Arrowhead! When all the “Jeepsters” show up it gets noisy!
Boat ramp had a lot of garbage around it. We picked up 2 bags full!

I love this campground due to the proximity to the lake and off-road trails.
Bathrooms are clean.
Only downfall (but doesn’t bother me) is the dirt roads that lead into the campground..
I would have given it a higher score but had an issue with camp host on this trip.. but never had issues before, so I hope it was an isolated incident

The only reason I did not rate this as "excellent" is because of the condition of the road leading to the camp. There were lots of ruts and my car rides kind of low. Just be prepared and go slow. Other than that, the place is great! The camp host was most helpful and the bath house was very clean. "Etiquette" expectations are posted and helpful, not obnoxious. Get to the easy hike trail before sunset for a great view over the lake; take a flashlight for the short hike back up the hill!
