What Guests Are Saying
Jackrabbit Mountain is a beautiful campground with scenic lake views and well-maintained hiking and biking trails. Many campers appreciate the clean bathrooms and spacious, private campsites, making it a great spot for families and nature enthusiasts. While some facilities could use improvement, such as the bathroom hooks and the absence of firewood for sale, the overall experience remains positive, with friendly hosts and a peaceful atmosphere.

Love this campground! Great, clean place with good amenities. This is our second time here, and certainly not our last. :)

Camp host was great. Would be nice with more privacy between sites. We weren't right next to the bathroom. But more than once had people walking between the tent and picnic table, even on weekdays when there were so few people around.

Love this place been going with my parents since we was kids and now me and my husband take our kids with my parents every year , so many great memories we have made and will continue to make more .
Great for swimming , boating , pretty much anything you can do in or on the water like kayaking, paddle boarding etc. and if you don’t want to be on or in the water riding bikes or roller skating around the loops are great fun or like our kids their hoverboards lol, or just relaxing ,can not say enough about this place ! Sooo beautiful .

The campground is clean and well maintained. Hosts Jobe and Dee are awesome, very friendly and responsive to questions, requests etc. We love this camp ground and will be back year after year.

The lake, nearby mountain biking trails, and campground hosts were great! However, the yellow jackets, the nearly ongoing sound of neighbors' generators, and the overly close proximity of other campsites were less than desirable.

I brought the fishing boat and was a very short walk from my site. It's on beautiful Lake Chatuge. Many shady sites to choose from. I've already booked again!

We booked a non electric RV site. When we got there, it was a tent site unless I parked on the street parallel and would have to look both ways before I opened my camper door. We didnt even stay because your booking personnel would do nothing to help me resolve this problem and help me secure a site to stay.
