Very tidy campgrounds with a wonderful creek running through the center. The campsites were well maintained and the host/hostess were courteous and helpful.

Great campground- loved our spot! The grate over the firepit was a nice addition to allow grilling of both dinner and breakfast. There were plenty of trees to hang our ENOs from and chill. We walked to the river to wade through, and also rode our mountain bikes right to the trails- no need to drive anywhere. Great location!

The campground is gorgeous, sites are spaced apart nicely. Bathrooms are very clean and kept up consistently. I had a rough start with my stay, two major downfalls mentioned by others- no clear way to check in and the “tent only pads” are actually too dense to put regular stakes in the ground. After bending two of my stakes and realizing I was going to have to dig into the pad, I moved my tent off the pad and onto leaf litter immediately next to the pad. Without guy-lines, my tent flops over. First rule: tents go on gravel only, even if you can’t actually place a tent onto the gravel… I spoke to host when I returned that evening and was told to move regardless of pad and “if you don’t like my campsite rules then you can leave.” They also left me two citations my first evening, with my tag written down and a threat of a $25 fine before I ever even met the host. I went to Walmart and got heavy duty stakes and a mallet- spent about $30 on that- then spent time the next morning moving and restaking my tent. Campground is kept ship-shape if you know what I mean. Lifetime camper, having camped across the nation and this is the first time I’ve ever had an issue like that.

No clear way to check in, so I just parked at my reserved spot. Camping spot was large, bordered by poison ivy on 2 sides. Shower facility was in a different loop across the bridge, pit toilets were close.

Policies & Rules

Cancellation policy

  • Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
  • Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
    • Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Extending or shortening a stay that still includes original dates usually has no change fee, though refunds may depend on timing and facility rules. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
  • Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
  • Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
