Group camping here was fantastic. We felt tucked away from other campers. Facilities were clean, and we enjoyed having a tidy port a potty on site, and bathrooms an easy walk away. We made lots of good memories, including a trip to DuPont Forest waterfalls, about 30mins away.

We stayed here for 4 nights and it was perfect! We were in campsite 3, next to the ranger (trees in between for privacy) and backing up to the forest. All the campsites are super private and well spaced. We just had the best time. We were there beginning of October, wood got delivered to us by the ranger for $9ish per bundle. Good price for convenience. Speaking of convenience, the grocery is crazy close so that’s a real plus! The side we were on had a bathroom that you’d expect. It flushed and was “clean” but definitely had a “wilderness” vibe to it (anything beats using a bucket or outhouse so I was absolutely fine with it!). The bathrooms/showers on the other side of the creek were LOVELY- newer and super clean! Showers were amazing. For being so close to civilization this place felt a world away. We have a huge bell style (teepee) tent and it takes up a giant footprint. Not that many sites can accommodate that- site 3 and 4 could so keep that in mind. I loved that it was almost all tents and there was so much privacy between sites! Roads were paved and kid had bikes and scooters. Creek/river was so beautiful and we loved exploring it. It was out first time camping as a family and my 7 year old loved it so much. Oh also there are water pumps well spread out with drinkable water so we didn’t need to really worry about filling a big 5gallon jug or anything, super helpful. Don’t hesitate to book this place, we would go back in a heartbeat.

Bathrooms and showers available. Nice tent pads and picnic tables at each site. Great river access to explore and fish. Quiet at night except for forestry road that stays busy. Stayed at site 8 for reference. Will stay on the other side of the river next time.

  • Reservation fees are non-refundable. For campsites, cabins, lookouts, yurts, group sites, and similar stays, we charge a reservation service fee of $8.
  • Standard cancellations usually have a $10 cancellation fee. Customers can generally cancel before the check-in date online.
  • Late cancellation rules differ by stay type.
    • Individual campsites: cancelling after 12:00am local time the day before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • Cabins, lookouts, and yurts: cancelling less than 14 days before arrival usually means a $10 cancellation fee plus forfeiting the first night's fee.
    • One-night reservations: a late cancellation usually forfeits the full amount paid, up to the total original reservation cost.
  • Modifications are allowed before the cut-off window, but fees depend on the change. Changing to dates completely outside the original reservation dates may trigger a $10 change fee. Switching to the same type of campsite for the same dates usually has no change fee, but price differences are charged or refunded.
  • Early departures may or may not be refunded. At certain facilities, partial refunds may be possible if staff can mark the site available for other visitors. No refund is given for a night if the early departure is requested after that day's check-out time.
  • Security deposits are separate. Security deposits may be refunded to the original payment method if the facility is left in acceptable condition, as determined by the property.
