Me and my fiancé decided to camp for the first time together and we choose to get number five and it was a great experience, now we are thinking to go back there.

The only issue we had was the noise from other campers gear but overall great experience. It was very beautiful and had a creek that made its sounds to lull us to sleep.

I stayed in site #11. The person in site #9 ran his generator starting at 9:45PM until 9:00 the next morning. And it was a loud generator. Quiet hours should be enforced, or its not really a rule.

Arrived at 5pm after a 6 hour drive to find out camp site still occupied. Host said it happens a lot. There was nothing initially available because it was a 3 day weekend. We were able to find a hasty first come site up the road. But I was very disappointed in the “eh, this happens a lot” reaction. I went back two hours later and the jerks who stayed at my site were laughing and drinking around the fire. I would keep looking if you want a guaranteed camp spot on your adventures…..

First, the good: the location is pristine, and the creek picturesque. Now the ugly: We tent camp and have stayed at campsites around the nation in national parks, national forests and state parks. We were at site number 3, and unless you like to smell # 2, avoid campsite 3. The problem is two fold. First, the vault toilet was extremely smelly; in fact, the worst I've encountered in the past 20 years. Second, the location of the vault toilet is practically in the boundaries of campsite 3. The smell was bad enough that we bailed after the first night, and relocated to another campground entirely. I'm a former infantry soldier and no stranger to austere situations, so this isn't the response of someone accustomed to luxury. It was truly awful.

The smell from vault toilets was overwhelming. Absolutely horrible! If it wasn’t for that, it would have been an amazing experience.

We stayed at campsite 14. The first time we went there in June, it was ideal. Set back from the other campsites, very close to the Creek, make this a wonderful location.
Unfortunately, on our second stay in August, my 9 yr old girl got stung at least 5 times by yellow jackets on her way to the Creek. I would not leave a one star review if I hadn’t found out two women had be n stung multiple times the week before we got there.
It should have been investigated and either the yellow jackets exterminated or a warning given to campers.
Not doing anything is INEXCUSABLE!! My wife had to drive he to a place where she had cell service. She saw an Ambulance garage and stopped and the EMT said they would have to take her to the Emergency Room. On the way she had to get an epinephrine shot. Again, if there were at least a warning I would not rate with a one star.
