I rented campsite 005 in the lower loop. I didn’t see any mention of this in the site description, but you can’t get your vehicle completely down to the campsite like most sites there. The picture is incorrect too, it’s showing a different site. From where you park your vehicle, you have to walk a path 100-150 feet over uneven, rocky ground to get to the actual campsite. Not a huge problem, but I would have picked a different site had I known this. It would have been a lot easier to unload and load my vehicle if I hadn’t had to make so many trips back-and-forth. Great view of the lake though and the bathroom/shower house and trash can were right across the road from the site.
