What Guests Are Saying
Badin Lake Campground offers a peaceful and scenic environment, making it a great choice for those who enjoy rustic camping and proximity to hiking trails. Many visitors appreciate the quiet atmosphere, clean campsites, and friendly interactions with fellow campers. However, the campground's restroom facilities could use significant improvements, and some sites are closely spaced, impacting privacy. Overall, campers enjoy their experiences but recognize the need for better maintenance in certain areas.

Loved the campsite! Very clean and the nearby bathrooms and trash dumpster were very nice!

The one night that we camped, there was very quiet and relaxing. The bathroom was clean and working. The security cable holding the picnic table down should hidden out of the way so no one trips over it. The next time we return we will get a site closer to the lake.

We really enjoyed the trails and the sites were well maintained. The bathrooms were fairly well maintained and there was water onsite. With no ranger or staff seen throughout the weekend several sites were disappointing as they were drunken party zones with plenty of loud music and F-bombs for all.

I enjoy trying to find new places to explore and camp. I loved my stay here. Brought my 7yo son with. We both had a great time. We brought our canoe and fished, enjoying all coastline the lake had to offer. Being offseason, it wasn’t crowded. The camp host Crystal was very friendly and made us feel at home. Bathrooms were very clean. We will definitely be coming back.

Overall the stay was great,no one bothered us or our belongings and easy access to the forest. Unfortunately the site #5 was not as pictured on the website, the shower water Was pretty cold ,had to do a jump in and out to soap up/ rinse and the light in the male toilet room was out. Other than that great views day or night!!
