Overall experience was good, one campsite had trouble with the "dogs always on a leash" policy, had to remind them of the rules, no host on site to enforce the rules??

Stayed in the same spot as last year for veterans day weekend, but this time the placards weren't updated for badin upper loop since October 11th, no host on site, and there were squatters in our reservation. Luckily they chose to break camp and move on.

The campground is in a very nice setting with nice campsites. There were a few problems with the facilities - the women’s shower didn’t work and the men’s room ran out of toilet paper. It would be nicer if they were cleaned more than twice per week

From Troy, North Carolina, take State Highway 109 north for approximately 10 miles. Turn left onto Mullinix Road (County Highway 1154), and travel approximately 1.5 miles to a stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn right, and go approximately 2 miles to another stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn right, then make a quick left and travel about 1 mile to the campground.
Badin Lake Campground is accessible via State Highway 109, which is located approximately 10 miles south of the campground in Troy, NC.

Safety & rules
- Prescribed burns may occur throughout the year, potentially causing smoky conditions.
- Respect fellow campers by keeping off-highway vehicles on designated roads and trails, and control children and pets in the campground.
Fees & deposits
- Single site rates are $20/night and $10/night with Access or Senior Access Pass; double site rates are $40/night with no discounts available.
Site types & loops
- Campsites 17 and 19 are first-come, first-served with no hookups; alcohol and fireworks are prohibited.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-highway vehicles are allowed on designated trails from April 1 to December 15, with required trail passes and trailering for unlicensed vehicles.
