The bottom line is I will definitely be company back! Nothing really to complain about. The campsite was large, well kept, and sufficient screening from the not too close adjacent campsites. The lake view made it pretty much perfect from my perspective. Troy had a good coffee shop with wifi so that worked too. The rest room situation was good too. Well maintained!

Overall another great trip. Host was very nice. HOWEVER - 2nd year I have recommended the need to fix the bathroom doors from slamming near site 13. VERY disruptive in the night or early morning when people go to the bathroom. Fingers crossed it will be fix finally.

From Troy, North Carolina, take State Highway 109 north for approximately 10 miles. Turn left onto Mullinix Road (County Highway 1154), and travel approximately 1.5 miles to a stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn right, and go approximately 2 miles to another stop sign and "T" intersection. Turn right, then make a quick left and travel about 1 mile to the campground.
Badin Lake Campground is accessible via State Highway 109, which is located approximately 10 miles south of the campground in Troy, NC.

Safety & rules
- Prescribed burns may occur throughout the year, potentially causing smoky conditions.
- Respect fellow campers by keeping off-highway vehicles on designated roads and trails, and control children and pets in the campground.
Fees & deposits
- Single site rates are $20/night and $10/night with Access or Senior Access Pass; double site rates are $40/night with no discounts available.
Site types & loops
- Campsites 17 and 19 are first-come, first-served with no hookups; alcohol and fireworks are prohibited.
Vehicles & parking
- Off-highway vehicles are allowed on designated trails from April 1 to December 15, with required trail passes and trailering for unlicensed vehicles.
