What Guests Are Saying
Badin Lake Campground offers a peaceful and scenic environment, making it a great choice for those who enjoy rustic camping and proximity to hiking trails. Many visitors appreciate the quiet atmosphere, clean campsites, and friendly interactions with fellow campers. However, the campground's restroom facilities could use significant improvements, and some sites are closely spaced, impacting privacy. Overall, campers enjoy their experiences but recognize the need for better maintenance in certain areas.

Camp ground host was an invasive, burnt out older man who yelled at us as soon as we pulled up because if you bring a trailer it’s considered 2 vehicles. This site doesn’t hAve a matching photo. It’s site 20s photo so know that going in. We agreed to sign up for another first come first serve site but couldn’t because campground host kept the slips to sign up (that are suppose to be available at the front of the campground) in his camper at all times.
He was conceding, rude and I’ll never go back.

The campground itself is beautiful. Our site was right on the water. Sites are very private.
Bathrooms are rough. Ran out of toilet paper several times. The worse part was the camp ranger. Very rude, miserable and nasty. Almost ruined our weekend. Other than that we had a great time.

Very nice and scenic campground. Even when every site is full, there was not a ton of noise, and it never felt like you were packed in and surrounded by other people. Only negative was that I had to set up my tent on the hard gravel tent pad rather than grass. Overall, very pleased with my experience.

Clean campground. Some spots are too close to others.
