A beautiful, quiet place to relax at camp. We unfortunately only had one night but plan to go back for a longer visit. We are told the zoo is a great place to visit from this campground but they were closed for cleaning so we missed out. All in all, a great stop and hope to get back there soon.

Campsite we had was great! Loved the hikes in the area, bathrooms were pretty decent. Only turn off was how close sites are to each other. Wish it was a tad more private. Over all I will 100% be coming back with the family!

Campground flooded due to lack of maintenance. I understand the weather can not be controlled however, when your entire campsite is under 2 inches of water when you wake up because the dirt/gravel has been washed away it seems to be an upkeep issue.

We camp here on the lower part for the waterfront campsites. We’ve been here several times and this particular time there was an aggressive volunteer working. He followed us when we entered, watched us back in and before we were fully out of our vehicle, he was asking to see our confirmation email. He didn’t say hello or introduce himself. Then he started listing all the things we aren’t allowed to do. He stopped us from washing four plates at the water thing and said we had to take the water to our site and wash them there. He called the cops on a neighboring site too. I’m speculating but I think it was because there were too many vehicles...like 3 instead of 2. He made the stay a poor one. Next time, we are going to try to snag a site along the trails.

Wonderful, clean site! Clean restrooms. Felt safe. Grateful for a campsite right next to the water so we could sit in our camping chairs and enjoy the sunset over the lake. Only issue we had was the noise from other campers after 11pm.
