Water at the bath house was stone cold. Not Much use for a cold shower when cold out side. The bathroom doors would slam shut at all hours of the night and kept my wife up most of the night. The worst part was the septic smell at our site. I’m not sure if it was full or just always smelly but it was the day’s we were there.
I love Uwharrie and this was my kids first trip out there. Next trip I will camp primitive. As I usually do. The only reason I splurged on the camp ground was for the amenities. And well those amenities were fairly poor.

Love camping here, I choose a spot right on the water, which gave me a great pass time of fishing, and the amenities are perfect for me and my family.

The camp master was very helpful. I've camped here several times. Lots of things to do from off roading, shooting, watersports and much more.

Do not recommend summer camping, there is not any access to swimming.

I had a perfect spot where it was a short walking distance to the lake to go swimming. Commodities were kept, and the area was really clean. I cant wait to go back!
