We enjoyed our camping experience at Cataloochee campground. The facilities were clean, the camp hostess was very nice and informative. We were able to see Elk morning and evening and the hiking trails were maintained very well.
Our campsite was next to the creek and very relaxing.

Welcoming host and beautiful river next to camp made this a beautiful spot. Small rv’s were in the center of camp with a couple generators. Site 5 was deep and offered plenty of room to run for the little ones. Some walking trails along the river would be nice but is difficult as the river eroded the banks steeply. Happy with camp as a whole!

Beautiful area but road to get there is curvy, winding, gravel road. Enjoyed seeing the elk!
