Check in was easy, site & amenities were as described. Liked the programs at the amphitheater which was within walking distance of the campground. Bathrooms were clean. Like that they had trash and recycling bins.

Campground has been upgraded with electric service to sites and a new outhouse. The downside to that is the price is getting jacked up. Frankly, I liked it the way it was for $10 per night. Campground host is a great guy and went out of his way to meet us and to help in any way.
Waters tastes pretty bad which I don’t remember from the last time. Ok to use for cleaning etc., but I would bring your own for drinking.

We never could find it and nobody at the park seemed to know anything about it. Spent $28 and couldn’t ask for a refund.

Nice campground, site 23 was a little soft gravel but a large site, mostly level 2” lower in the front. We were told not to fill water up there as it tasted bad and smelled like sulfur so we passed. We decided to stay at the Cottonwood campground in the south unit, the water was good there.

We stayed one night there in early of June. It is windy that day. But the camping ground is leveled well. The grass were newly planted. It is an interesting place. The camping ground host is very friendly. The sites all look new. The electricity box is new. Water is available to fill fresh tank. The park is pack-in and pack-out. Good spot for one or two night stay.

The campground was recently renovated and some of the roads inside are a loose mess. I got stuck in my camper van, but thankfully I had tracks and a random camper came over to give me a push. There was no warning on the website, at the entrance, or any information indicating that parts of the campground are only accessible to four-wheel drive vehicles. Talking to the camp hosts, they said that they've attempted to fix the roads, but the roads just keep turning back into a loose gravel sand trap. Hopefully, someone can figure out how to fix this or provide some sort of warning for unsuspecting campers.
