The entrance was so torn up by construction I didn’t feel safe crossing it with my trailer. I went to juniper campground instead.

Loved this campground. There were only a half dozen campers. The sites are large and with. Ice views. Right across the river from the North Unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park

Perfect location at the trailhead of the Maah Daah Hey trail and minutes to the entrance of the TRNP north unit. Well maintained and good facilities. Hand pump water well is adequate although you may want to bring your own drinking water. Scenery is amazing. Can be hot with little shade so bring shade shelter etc.

Nice campground with a great location for those visiting the north unit of Theodore Roosevelt NP. Crossing the cattle guards was a little rough on the rock road on the way in. Passable by most vehicles, but go slow. Campground was generally well maintained, but the picnic table at our site was broken. Good space for tent and very short stroll to the pit toilet.

Beautiful campground; beautiful views. Almost level site 26. Easy in/out. Great convenient access to North entrance to TR Nat’l Park. Warm day but cold night—-very wonderful for late June.

Easy to find signs. 10 mins from the north unit part of Theodore. Clear night sky for star gazing. Be mindful of the season though. Went in the middle of summer and was stuck outside in the heat with no shade at the campsite. They had a gazebo which was nice to cool off while the sun went down. Cell coverage was pretty good, able to stream a short YouTube video. Would definitely go again
