What a great campground! Just 1/4 mile from the Theodore Rosevelt - North Unit Park entrance, it has everything! Water, clean pit toilets, electric, and views of the park. I was there over a weekend in Aug and the campground was only 1/3 full. Highly recommend!

Check in was easy, site & amenities were as described. Liked the programs at the amphitheater which was within walking distance of the campground. Bathrooms were clean. Like that they had trash and recycling bins.

Campground has been upgraded with electric service to sites and a new outhouse. The downside to that is the price is getting jacked up. Frankly, I liked it the way it was for $10 per night. Campground host is a great guy and went out of his way to meet us and to help in any way.
Waters tastes pretty bad which I don’t remember from the last time. Ok to use for cleaning etc., but I would bring your own for drinking.

We never could find it and nobody at the park seemed to know anything about it. Spent $28 and couldn’t ask for a refund.

Nice campground, site 23 was a little soft gravel but a large site, mostly level 2” lower in the front. We were told not to fill water up there as it tasted bad and smelled like sulfur so we passed. We decided to stay at the Cottonwood campground in the south unit, the water was good there.
