What Guests Are Saying
Big Bend offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites, many shaded areas, and a nice restaurant at the dam. Reviewers appreciated the friendly staff and clean facilities, with many expressing a desire to return. However, some noted issues with overgrown grass and stickers, which could make it difficult for pets and outdoor activities.

Very beautiful place to stay with the family. Camp host was very nice and easy to communicate with. Can’t wait to go back next year!

We always enjoy camping in Big Bend. The park is well kept, patrolled and the attends are friendly.

The only thing that I had an issue with is, the mowers was there trying to mow while we were at the campsite. I noticed that other campers that were in tents were not very happy with the mowers either. The mowers did lower the RPM on their mowers, but they were still blowing the dirt everywhere and our tent had the dust from the mowers.
Best Regards,
Mike Moser

This campground is absolutely lovely and very hospitable. We very much enjoyed the quiet, undisturbed lazying around at the lakes edge. The area was clean and well kept. We didn’t have any trouble backing in our 38 ft RV.
