Big Bend offers a spacious and peaceful camping experience with well-maintained sites, many shaded areas, and a nice restaurant at the dam. I love this lake! I stay in a primitive site when I come here. The sites are maintained for the most part. However, firewood is no longer provided! And you can't bring your own!!...HMMMM. How do you have a CAMP FIRE WITH NO WOOD??!! I'm very DISSAPOINTED AGAIN THIS YEAR!. I've been coming here for the past 8 years. Thinking of going to Romanose from now on!

This site offers a great view of the lake and surrounding region. There are enough trees for shade but also open enough to enjoy the night sky. It is also close to fishing and easy access to Canton.
We arrived on a Sunday evening and departed Wednesday afternoon. We were surprised that lake area stores to include bait stores were closed Mon-Wed.

This is a great site. We hike into the woods behind the playground and start disc golf on hole 10 and finish on hole 9 by our site. Very close to restrooms and very little traffic. Being on the hill, there is always a nice breeze. This is our go to site at Canton.

Camping at Big Bend was great, we've enjoyed both times that we traveled to camp there. The view is beautiful and the campers were great. Our site was over run with ants and that was a big deterring factor in how long we stayed outside especially with two dogs. I would recommend this campground, boating, fishing, camping and grilling good times.

Very well maintained campground. There was stormy weather that week… the camp host stopped by to tell us the location of shelter well in advance of the weather moving in.
